Access Specialist (Crisis Stabilization)

Job Summary We are looking for an Access Specialist to process intake paperwork for individuals seeking psychiatric stabilization and medical detox. The Crisis Service Center operates 24/7 year‑round to provide short‑term intervention designed to stabilize individuals and transition them to appropriate levels of observation. Responsibilities Complete intake paperwork for assessment and/or admission. Complete Point of Entry in Carelogic and BHL to ensure accurate processing of individuals receiving services. Review and update BHL to ensure accurate daily census. Review and maintain daily census logs (CSC, Temp Obs, CSU) to ensure accuracy and completion. Answer phones professionally using established protocols. Work with a variety of internal and external customers. Respond to individual, staff, and third‑party inquiries in person or by phone. Maintain confidentiality for all indirect/direct services in accordance with agency policies and HIPAA policies. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient/outpatient and/or hospital setting. Bilingual abilities a plus.
