This is realized through counseling and psychotherapeutic services. Serves as a consultant to other healthcare personnel. Requirements: NP Registered Nurse Practitioner – State Board of Registered Nursing required. Focus/Specialty - Psychiatric/mental health required. Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center required. Three years previous experience in psychiatric/medical social work is required. Substance abuse and/or addiction experience preferred. Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
