Are you looking for a part-time position where every day is a little different and your work truly matters?

Palmetto Preschool-Northchase is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Afternoon Preschool Floater to join our team. As a floater, you'll support multiple classrooms throughout the afternoon, helping teachers, engaging with children, and ensuring our classrooms remain safe, organized, and fun.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children of different ages and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Part-Time, Year-Round
• No Nights or Weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in infant, toddler, preschool, and Pre-K classrooms as needed
• Engage children in play, learning activities, and daily routines
• Help supervise classrooms, playgrounds, and transitions
• Support classroom cleanliness and organization
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Follow all licensing regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred but not required
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to meet North Carolina childcare licensing requirements
• Passion for helping children learn and grow
