Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team to provide care in a safe, healing, and caring environment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Supervise, direct, and delegate appropriately to various levels of assigned nursing staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Must be available for night shift scheduling; block scheduling and special scheduling requests cannot be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Emergency Department experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
