Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | On-Call Not Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 11-bed Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN patient ratio guidelines
• Perform strong independent L&D skills including cervical checks, IV starts, and medication management to include oxytocin and magnesium
• Function as OR circulator for vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
• Manage labor progression and provide pre-op and PACU care as needed
• Utilize fetal monitoring equipment including standard GE L&D fetal monitoring and wireless NOVII monitoring
• Document accurately using Meditech Expanse and GE CPN Connect EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Strong independent L&D clinical skills: cervical checks, OR circulator, IV start, and labor management
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and EFM
• Proficiency with oxytocin and magnesium medication management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with internal device placement including IUPC and FSE
• Newborn transition experience
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or GE CPN Connect EMR platforms
