Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Clear Lake, Texas .

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM to 1:00 PM, weekends Saturday and Sunday as needed 5:30 AM to 11:30 AM ; On call as 3rd call 5:30 AM to 11:30 AM (hours will vary based on case load) every 6 weeks

In this role, the Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse will:

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
• Provide patient education

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
