Production Associate

This position is responsible for operating various equipment to pad print, hole punch, and/or package parts within an assigned area as directed. The Production Associate accurately and efficiently completes orders to established procedures and quality standards. Principle Accountabilities: Set-up jobs and perform pad printing, hole punching, or packaging operations to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved. Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements. Obtain necessary materials and tools required to achieve expected run rates. Draft and maintain procedure sheets. Check all parts for excellent quality. Assemble and package parts to customer’s specifications. Ensure the safe operation of equipment. Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality. Maintain full working knowledge of all processes. Ensure a clean and organized work environment. Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships. Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong teamwork. Understanding of all tools, gages, equipment, and other various instruments used to perform position. Basic ability to understand blueprints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams. Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios. Education and Experience: Required: Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification. Preferred: Previous experience in a relevant manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works with moving machinery and occasionally in outside weather.
