Lead Hardware Engineer

Location You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Role Overview In this role, you will impact by shaping the future of Honeywell Aerospace as a global technology leader, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality products that improve the quality of life for people around the world. Responsibilities Lead and drive the hardware design process, from concept to production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications. Design and develop complex hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout. Perform hardware testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability. Support products from concept to certification, in the factory, in the field, until end of life. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Must‑Have Qualifications 10+ years of experience in hardware design and development. Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies. Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools. Experience with hardware Validation and Verification. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Experience with DO‑160 and DO‑254. Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 15+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
