Virtual Primary Care Physician – Family Medicine / Internal Medicine

Remote | U.S. | Full-Time | $235,000–$255,000 Base Salary

The Opportunity

Sana is looking for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our growing virtual primary care team. This is an opportunity to help build a modern primary care model that combines virtual care, asynchronous care, technology, and AI to make healthcare easier for patients.

What you can expect:

• 100% remote physician role

• $235,000–$255,000 base salary

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time

• Primarily virtual and asynchronous primary care

• Care for adult patients across preventive, chronic, and acute care needs

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality primary care to adult patients through virtual and asynchronous channels

• Manage preventive care and chronic conditions, as well as appropriate acute concerns

• Review and respond to patient messages and clinical requests with sound clinical judgment

• Develop longitudinal relationships with patients through a virtual care model

• Collaborate with other clinicians and care team members to coordinate patient care

• Use technology and emerging AI-enabled tools to support efficient, high-quality care

• Help improve clinical workflows, protocols, and the patient experience as the model evolves

• Practice evidence-based medicine while maintaining appropriate documentation and regulatory compliance

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Experience providing primary care to adult patients

• Telemedicine experience required

• Comfortable providing care through both synchronous and asynchronous channels

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to determine when patients require in-person evaluation or specialty care

• Comfortable adopting new technology and evolving clinical workflows

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed care team

• Active medical licensure in required states; IMLC eligibility/LOQ and multi-state licensure are a plus
