Electrical Estimator

EstimatorThe estimator is responsible for developing cost estimates on routine small projects under direct supervision for construction as required by clients documents.ResponsibilitiesExamine proposals, blueprints, and specifications to determine the kind and time period of work necessary for a project.Prepare material orders and other documentation.Visit job sites to assess progress, maintain logs, troubleshoot problems, and evaluate work.Create project plans from estimates, and define tasks, schedules, and necessary personnel.Confer with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, and negotiate and use local expertise to estimate costs.Perform other duties assigned by the manager.QualificationsHigh School minimum; Degree in related field preferred; Experience overall - two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.Experience working in ACCUBID preferredMust work at an intermediate level of Microsoft Word and ExcelProficient in take-off estimator planningStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask while staying organizedSelf-MotivatedPositive customer service skillsAs an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status.Pay RangeUSD $100,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
