Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a cardiac anesthesiologist with TEE certification and fellowship preferred for an ongoing locum tenens assignment supporting a Level 1 trauma academic center in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves providing anesthesia support for cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart procedures, with unrestricted overnight and weekend call coverage.

Clinical Scope

• Cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart procedures
• General anesthesia support in the OR
• Supervision of CRNAs as needed
• Assistance with general OR cases if required

Requirements

• MD degree (MD)
• Active Nebraska medical license (must be obtained if not yet licensed)
• Completion of approved CV anesthesia fellowship (ACGME or international equivalent)
• Testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography (NBE)
• Minimum five years documented CV anesthesia experience with references from CV surgeons and anesthesiologists (if fellowship trained, experience not mandatory)
