Operations Manager

Manager Of OperationsMeyer Utility Structures is seeking a Manager of Operations who will work in conjunction with the Plant Manager in overseeing the Tulsa, OK plant's manufacturing processes, equipment purchases, maintenance and layout. The Manager will monitor and evaluate workflow, assembly methods, as well as recommend and implement process improvements to improve output at the plant location. Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete, lattice, and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.What You'll Do:Collaborate with plant manager in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plansServe as the Lean Champion for the plant, driving high standards for 55 by leading training and continuous improvement techniquesMaximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental plant collaborationSet strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivityAnalyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessaryMonitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for key initiativesPlan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the overall plant operation to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasksUphold organizational policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followedWork closely with human resources to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environmentWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in industrial management, business or related field5+ years of progressive experience in a related roleSuperior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles including finance, customer service, production, employee management, value-stream management and human resourcesProven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivityAbility to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed. efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demandsStrong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelinesExperience with budget and business plan development highly preferredProven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivityAbility to negotiate in both internal and external settingsMasterful organizational, communication, and leadership skillsStrong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
