IST Management Services is seeking a Route Driver/Package Locker Loader for the Boston team, at a high profile University in the Boston area! Ideal candidates will have an understanding of mail services, possess an excellent customer service mindset, are willing to train, and are ready to grow in their professional office services career! This location is on the cutting edge of new technologies being introduced to our Higher Education Clients, and can open the doors to advancement, as we sign on future Clients! Position is a combination of delivering packages to Faculty Offices around Campus, as well as loading Student packages into different locker locations, utilizing new technology that is out there!

Hourly Compensation: $20.00-22.00 USD

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Shifts are between 7:30 AM starting time through an ending time of 8 PM (8 hour shifts in that range).

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to designated mail stops, in different Faculty buildings
• Drive company-provided vehicles around a University campus
• Deliver and load packages into lockers, in different locations around campus, for student pick up
• Scan packages in from couriers, scan packages out to customers/sort and file packages for customer pick up
• Deliver packages to labs as needed/process outgoing packages
• Shipping & Receiving; Lift large bundles of mail, overnight packages and shipments of paper
• Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
  • Take direction from supervisor or site manager
• Participate in cross-training and perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred; Prior relevant mail services experience is a plus
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
• Ability to meet employer's attendance policy; A valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation to and from work
• Lifting up to 55 pounds
