Clinical Research Nurse

Science 37’s Nursing Solutions Group brings together expert nurses who share a passion for organizing, planning and implementing mobile clinical nurse services to participants in clinical trials. This group collaborates with clinicians, researchers, patient recruitment specialists, data managers and technology developers throughout the trial life cycle. Per Diem Mobile Research Nurse This is a travel role that requires on-site visits to participants’ homes. The Mobile Research Nurse ensures the professional delivery of patient care in compliance with all federal and state regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities Provide research nurse services to qualified study participants at home. Apply clinical research and nursing practices to develop solutions to complex problems. Collaborate with Lead and Per Diem Mobile Research Nurses on solutioning, education, and resource support. Participate in activities that advance the operational development of Science 37’s nursing service delivery. Serve as the subject matter expert on all nursing processes for the study team. Perform other duties as assigned to meet evolving study needs. Qualifications & Competencies Full COVID‑Vaccination strongly preferred; follows CDC guidelines. Active RN licensure in the home state and eligibility for Compact Licensure required. Minimum 2+ years of clinical/research experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Maintains a positive representation of the company in participant homes and clinic settings. 1–2 days per week dedicated to study visits; weekday/night availability required. Willingness to travel to participants’ homes. Active Driver’s License and reliable vehicle for travel and transport of equipment. Physical ability to lift equipment up to 15 kg. Ability to use technology effectively for assessments, documentation, and communication. Effective communication in English (both verbal and written). Ability to obtain nursing licenses in multiple states as study needs dictate. Up to 100% travel as required for participant visits, team meetings, and professional conferences. Reporting: Minimal supervision; individuals report to the Manager, Nursing Solutions Group. Compensation The starting pay range for this position is generally $50–$55 per hour, with potential discretionary bonuses and commissions based on qualifications and experience.
