Retail Store Manager "Chief Outfitter" - Nashville, TN

Ball and Buck is opening in Nashville, and we're looking for a Store Manager to own it. We're a heritage American brand grounded in craftsmanship, the outdoors, and gear made to last — and this is the chance to lead one of our newest locations from day one. As Store Manager, you'll run the complete operation, build the team, and set the standard for what the Ball and Buck experience feels like in Nashville.

What you'll do

• Own the complete store operation — P&L, team performance, and customer experience
• Build and lead a team that embodies Ball and Buck values in every interaction
• Make decisive calls on inventory, merchandising, and operations without waiting for approval
• Connect directly with guests, sharing the story behind the products and the craftsmanship
• Develop your team through coaching, direct feedback, and real responsibility
• Plan and execute in-store events that strengthen community connections
• Collaborate with the founder and home office on strategic decisions and product feedback
• Identify problems, find root causes, and implement solutions that improve the business
• Drive sales results while protecting the integrity of the Ball and Buck experience

What you bring

• 4+ years in retail, with management experience and P&L ownership 
• The grit to make tough calls, speak candidly, and own outcomes
• A real passion for the outdoors and American-made goods
• A track record of building and developing strong teams

The details

• Full-time position
• On-target compensation up to $100,000, depending on experience
