Details MS/Tele Float pool covering multiple Med/Surg units including cardiac, spine, and neuro Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30, 3x per week Every other weekend required Holiday coverage required as applicable to operations Float requirement as needed across units, including neuro and oncology Uses Epic EMR Telemetry monitoring on the unit with dysrhythmia interpretation and management Requirements Active WI RN license or compact license required BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg specialty Epic EMR experience required, preferably within the last 12 months Must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to starting, including adult and pediatric rhythm identification with strict passing criteria Previous travel nursing experience required Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Additional Information Located at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital ranked as Wisconsin's top hospital Care responsibilities may include chest tube management, tracheostomy care, wound care, IV insulin protocols, and cardiac monitoring Experience with orthopedic, cardiovascular, renal, and neurological patient populations may be required depending on unit assignment Must complete a cardiac interpretation review course if telemetry exam is failed twice, with a third attempt allowed before assignment cancellation Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted References are not required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-749312.
