Medication Tech (CNA)Double Weekend

Location: Dallas, TX Company: Lakewest Assisted Living Position: Med Tech (CNA) – Double Weekend As a Med Tech, you will administer oral and topical medications to residents as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies. You will observe for and report any medication reactions or side effects, record administrations, and administer PRN medications as required. Key Responsibilities Administer medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy. Demonstrate knowledge of the "five rights" of medication administration. Record the administration of medications and treatments appropriately. Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift. Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy. Work double weekend shifts. Qualifications Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nurse aide. Highly developed observation skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Active Texas CNA certification.
