Remote German B2B Software Sales Manager

Sales Manager (m/w/d) Department: Sales Employment Type: Permanent Location: Germany, Remote Description As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth within the German market by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and promoting software solutions that help mid-sized companies optimize and digitalize their business processes. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, combining commercial acumen with a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach. Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals in Germany. Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through proactive market engagement and lead generation. Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and needs assessment to proposal, negotiation, and contract finalization. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and implementation teams to ensure solution alignment and customer satisfaction. Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and conferences to strengthen visibility and positioning. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates using CRM tools. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Proven experience in B2B software or ERP solution sales, ideally within the manufacturing or mid-market segment. You are an experienced leader and have 5+ years of experience. Strong understanding of digital transformation and business process optimization. Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills. Results-driven mindset with strong strategic and analytical capabilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all organizational levels. Confident use of CRM systems and MS Office tools.
