Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Put Your Roll-Off Experience on a Consistent Day Shift

An Urbana-area hauling operation is hiring an experienced CDL-A Roll-Off Driver to deliver, exchange, and remove commercial dumpsters. This is roll-off container work-not residential curbside trash collection.

Direct roll-off experience and manual-transmission proficiency are required. A CDL by itself will not qualify someone without previous experience operating a roll-off system.

What You'll Do

Operate a CDL-A manual-transmission roll-off truck
Deliver, exchange, reposition, and retrieve commercial roll-off dumpsters
Use the hydraulic roll-off system to load and unload containers
Position dumpsters accurately at construction, commercial, and industrial sites
Haul containers to designated disposal or transfer locations
Inspect containers and secure or tarp loads before transport
Navigate tight jobsites, alleys, driveways, and active work areas
Complete pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
Maintain delivery tickets, route information, and required driving records
Communicate with dispatch and site contacts throughout the route

Required Experience

Current Class A CDL
Previous professional roll-off dumpster driving experience
Proven ability to operate a manual-transmission commercial vehicle
Experience operating hydraulic roll-off equipment
Strong backing, container-placement, and jobsite-maneuvering skills
Ability to protect customer property while positioning or removing containers
Ability to meet applicable company and DOT driving requirements

Applications without direct roll-off experience cannot be considered.

Manual Transmission Requirement

Manual-transmission CDL driving experience is required
Drivers must be able to shift confidently throughout a local route
An automatic-only CDL restriction will not qualify
Manual operation is a firm requirement

Physical and Work Environment

Frequent entry into and exit from the truck
Outdoor work in changing temperatures and weather conditions
Regular standing, bending, reaching, and climbing
Manual handling of tarps, container doors, chains, and securement equipment
Work around construction debris, disposal areas, and active commercial jobsites
