Job Description We are seeking skilled Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team supporting the production of complex electronic and electromechanical products. In this role, you will perform a variety of assembly, soldering, inspection, testing, and packaging activities while working from assembly drawings, diagrams, bills of materials, and manufacturing instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs), soldering through‑hole and surface mount components, and assembling small mechanical and electromechanical products. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work under a microscope, and a commitment to quality, productivity, and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure assemblies meet customer requirements, military standards, and production timelines. Duties and Responsibilities Assemble electronic and mechanical products according to manufacturing instructions and engineering drawings. Perform SMT and PTH soldering, rework, touch‑up, and component installation on printed circuit boards. Conduct assembly, disassembly, modification, and testing of assemblies and subassemblies. Operate production equipment used in PCB manufacturing and assembly processes. Perform conformal coating, module cleaning, potting, and testing activities. Read and interpret bills of materials, blueprints, and assembly documentation. Utilize hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and computer systems to complete assigned tasks. Inspect products for defects and perform self‑quality checks before advancing work to the next process step. Support process improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings to establish work priorities. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and workplace policies. Meet production schedules while maintaining high levels of accuracy and workmanship. Support overtime requirements as needed to meet business demands. Required Experience/Skills High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or electronics assembly. Minimum of 2–3 years of soldering experience. Strong hand soldering skills with both through‑hole and surface mount components. Experience reading assembly drawings, blueprints, and bills of materials. Ability to perform detailed assembly and inspection work under a microscope. Knowledge of electronic components, PCB assembly processes, and manufacturing procedures. Ability to use hand tools, test equipment, and production machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical systems. Good eyesight, including color vision. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and learn new processes quickly. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Nice‑to‑Haves IPC‑A‑610 certification (current or previous). Experience in manufacturing aircraft instruments or electronic systems. Experience with PCB rework, component bonding, and hardware assembly. Familiarity with wave soldering, solder fountains, pinning machines, or similar equipment. Previous experience in OEM or EMS manufacturing environments. Experience working with military standards and ISO 9000 requirements. Electromechanical assembly and testing experience. Experience supporting prototype or experimental product builds. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Technical training or certifications related to electronics manufacturing are a plus. IPC certification preferred.
