Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a well-established animal hospital in Havana, Florida, near Tallahassee. They are hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their expanding 3-doctor practice, providing general care for cats and dogs.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital opening hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 12:30 pm, and closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing general practice care across medicine and surgery, with a focus on preventive healthcare, dentistry, and wellness. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, senior pet care, dermatology, nutritional counseling, health certificates, surgery, urgent care, dental care, boarding, microchipping, and in-house diagnostics. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with strong mentorship available.

Practice Details
The hospital operates in a beautifully remodelled facility designed to provide a professional yet fun environment. Equipment includes in-house diagnostics, a U/A analyser, and digital radiology. Services cover preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and more, with a loyal client base and supportive team culture.

Team
The hospital has three DVMs supported by a strong and dedicated team. The culture is collaborative, compassionate, and mentorship-focused, encouraging growth for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
