Hilltop Healthcare & Rehabilitation is hiring Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisors in Altoona, PA!

We're looking for experienced RNs who are ready to take the next step into a leadership role while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Full-Time Schedules Available:

• 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM

• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

About the Position

As an RN Supervisor at Hilltop Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight to the nursing team while helping ensure our residents receive safe, high-quality care.

You'll work closely with nursing staff and facility leadership to support daily nursing operations, address staffing needs and ensure resident care needs are met.

RN Supervisor Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the nursing department as assigned.

• Oversee nursing operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).

• Review staffing at shift changes and make adjustments as needed to ensure resident care needs are met.

• Complete resident care rounds and monitor the quality of care being provided.

• Support nursing staff with clinical questions, concerns and resident care needs.

• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers and discharges.

• Monitor resident conditions and ensure changes are appropriately communicated and addressed.

• Promote compliance with facility policies, nursing standards and applicable regulations.

• Provide direction and support to LPNs and CNAs.

• Promote a collaborative and professional nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience required.

• Previous supervisory experience required.

• Current CPR certification.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Compassion and commitment to providing quality care to seniors.
