- # Senior Specialist, Inventory (1st Shift) - New Ulm, MNNew Ulm (MN), United StatesApply NowFind out how well you match with this jobJob ID82570**Senior Specialist, Inventory****New Ulm, MN****Onsite**The Senior Specialist, Inventory is responsible for end-to-end inventory management across the New Ulm TTH manufacturing site, ensuring accurate stock levels, material availability, and compliance with company standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting production continuity, cost control, and operational efficiency.The position operates with a high degree of autonomy and partners cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Finance to ensure optimal inventory performance and alignment with site objectives.**Your key responsibilities*** Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within ERP systems (SAP preferred)* Optimize inventory levels (min/max, safety stock) aligned with production and supply planning* Ensure proper stock segmentation (e.g., quality hold, blocked, unrestricted use)* Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production* Partner with planning and operations teams to align inventory with production schedules* Serve as a key liaison between Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Finance* Provide reporting and insights to support decision-making and financial accuracy**We bring*** A collaborative and purpose-driven culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement* Opportunities for career growth and development within a global organization* A workplace where inclusion and diversity are valued and embedded in how we operate* The chance to contribute to meaningful work that supports operational excellence and business success**You bring*** High school diploma required* Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment* Experience in regulated manufacturing (food, nutrition, or similar) preferred* Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and ERP systems (SAP preferred)* Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities* High attention to detail and accuracy* Strong communication and collaboration skills* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently* Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds**The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $29.00-34.00 per hour.****In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
