Local Contract Interventional Radiology Technologist - $75 per hour

Job Title Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist – Columbus, Georgia. Assignment Overview Start Date: May 26, 2026 Duration: 12 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days, 8 hour day shifts) Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Employment Type: Local Contract Responsibilities Work in an interventional radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting. Provide care to a patient population spanning pediatric to geriatric patients. Assist in procedures in four procedure rooms with an average daily census of 25 patients. Perform 5×8‑hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Participate in shared on‑call rotation for weekends (approximately one in four). Float within the facility as per scope of practice when needed. Document patient care using Epic EMR; also use Pyxis and SBAR. Wear scrubs provided by the facility. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience. Active BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certifications. Proficiency with Epic EMR. Any required license, if applicable. Ability to care for a pediatric to geriatric patient population. First‑time travelers are not accepted for this position. Additional Information Local candidates are accepted. Travelers who have worked at any facility in this health system must have been away for a full year before returning as a traveler. RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week. For major holidays: if one or two fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work all of them and no holiday RTO will be approved; if three fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work two of them. Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. No alternate shift or schedule change requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm. Two supervisory references (manager level or above) are highly preferred; charge nurse references are not accepted. Candidates undergo a clinical review prior to manager consideration.
