In this role, you will be responsible for interviewing and onboarding new employees, updating documents, employee schedules and training. You will work closely with the HR Manager and Low Moor Team and play an important role in employee and operational impact.How You Will Make an Impact:Lead HR functionsPartner with all employees at the plant and those that support the extrusion platformDrive workforce planning, staffing and schedulingImprove employee engagement, recognition, and safety programsContribute to employee/labor management, operations, and process improvement plansEnsure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and company standardsCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementAlignment with Smurfit Westrock's values of safety, loyalty, integrity and respectWhat You Need to Succeed:Required QualificationsHigh school education or equivalent4 years of relevant experience (HR or manufacturing administrative)Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to meet work schedule, travel, or location requirementsPreferred QualificationsSHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certificationAssociate's degree or higherTimekeeping experienceExperience with HRIS systemsQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by state or federal law. The salary range for this position is $47,250.00 - $78,750.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The range listed is also the expected pay for roles in Illinois and Colorado. The benefits for this role include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 15 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
