Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications supporting mission-critical analytical environments. This role involves working across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and user interface design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

The ideal candidate has experience developing cloud-native applications using Python, PostgreSQL, AWS services, and modern frontend technologies, with a passion for building intuitive, user-centered applications in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications supporting enterprise and analytical mission needs


• Participate in the complete product development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and usability reviews


• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript


• Build backend services and applications using Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS services such as Amazon SQS


• Design and develop workflows, prototypes, conceptual models, and user interface specifications


• Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive, accessible, and effective user experiences


• Ensure compliance with user interface standards, web usability guidelines, and development best practices


• Conduct application testing, usability testing, and quality assurance activities


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions


• Utilize Git for version control, source code management, and issue tracking


• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, and iterative development

Required Qualifications

• Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph


• Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting


• Experience developing full stack web applications


• Strong programming experience with Python


• Experience developing backend applications using PostgreSQL and AWS services such as Amazon SQS


• Experience with frontend development using HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript


• Understanding of user-centered design principles, web standards, typography, accessibility, and usability best practices


• Experience using Git for version control and collaborative software development


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile development environment

Desired Qualifications

• Experience developing cloud-native applications within secure cloud environments


• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes


• Familiarity with data-intensive or analytical application environments


• Experience supporting intelligence analysis or mission-focused applications


• Strong ability to organize and solve complex technical problems


• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
