Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care to medical and post-surgical patients on remote telemetry monitoring
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage non-titratable drips with confidence
• Perform IV starts and peripheral line management to support patient recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including rapid response and pharmacy for optimal outcomes
• Float to similar Med Surg units as needed, adapting with your versatile skills

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience
• BCLS certification required, ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• EPIC experience strongly preferred, especially for first-time travelers
• Comfortable with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and MS/Tele settings

Education

• RN degree from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and isolation precautions
• Familiar with Pyxis medication system, EPIC documentation, and SBAR communication
• Skilled in non-invasive airway management and nasal cannula respiratory care
