Role Peer Support Specialist Responsibilities Provide peer-led services supporting individuals with mental health, substance use, or trauma challenges, utilizing personal recovery experience to guide others toward wellness. Offer empathetic support, share recovery insights, and assist in developing skills for self-sufficiency. Qualifications High school diploma/GED, lived experience with mental health or substance use, completed 80-hour Peer Support Training (or equivalent) within 90 days or within 2 years of hire, and current behavioral intervention techniques training within six months. Skills Strong communication, empathy, recovery-focused mindset, and ability to work in mutuality with clients. Additional Information Full-time, evening shift (PM).
