Clinical Infusion Supervisor, Downtown Nashville

This position is responsible for managing the day to day clinic operations of practices within a department. Reporting to the Site Manager, this role serves as the clinical point person for physicians, staff, and patients. It participates in new hire recruitment and oversees office specific orientation for clinical staff. This position contributes to performance management by providing clinical performance feedback to the Site Manager for all clinical staff. It serves as the liaison between providers and staff and members of administration.

Essential duties and responsibilities include serving as a clinical point of contact for physicians and staff, receiving and responding to patient issues and/or concerns, participating in the recruitment process for clinical staff, facilitating new hire training, supervising scheduling of clinical staff and managing daily staffing needs, accurately maintaining time and attendance records of clinical staff, ensuring established clinical workflows are followed to ensure a quality patient experience, participating in the creation of new clinical workflows, providing feedback to supervisor at clinical staff's 90 days and during the annual review period and as needed, leading clinical staff huddles and contributing during staff meetings, complying with all established HMA policies and procedures, maintaining clinical supply and equipment inventory, attending required leadership development/training, and may be in a dedicated staff role dependent on the number of practices supported by position.

Qualifications and/or experience include demonstrated leadership skills, ability to cope with busy, challenging office environment, pleasant, professional personality, good typing and computer skills, 3-5 years' experience in an office environment, preferably in the medical field, 0-2 years' experience in clinic-based nursing, two years' experience or training in office procedures in a medical environment, bachelor's degree preferred, high school education equivalent required, graduation from an accredited RN program, license to practice as Registered Nurse (preferred) in the State of Tennessee, CPR/AED-(BLS) certification, strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication (oral and written) skills, knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment, skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public, knowledge of the principles and skills needed for nursing to provide limited patient care and treatment.

Work environment includes standing for 8 to 10 hours a day, ability to work at a desk up to eight hours/day and to undertake frequent typing, computer work and filing, regular walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting, ability to lift at least 10-15lbs, normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate paperwork, while in the office environment-limited to no exposure to communicable diseases, the normal routine involves no exposure to blood-borne pathogens or contaminated body fluids, while in the clinical setting potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens, communicable diseases, medical preparations and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
