Social Media Intern
Live Tinted is seeking a part-time Social Media Intern (~20 hours per week with flexibility) focused on Community Management to support our growing digital presence. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Social Media and play a key part in nurturing and engaging our online community across Instagram and TikTok.
Live Tinted is a community-driven beauty brand on a mission to revolutionize the industry by championing multicultural beauty through inclusive conversation, community and product innovation. At Live Tinted, beauty is our vehicle for cultural connections. We all have more in common than we realize - from dark circles to hyperpigmentation. Our multicultural community is a place to discuss this all, and have your discussions lead the product development. Culture is home, and we are developing a collective home, for every shade in between. Our mission is to continue to raise awareness for more representation and identity affirmation while creating solutions with POC-first in mind. Along the way, our products have amassed love from our community and won multiple awards— including the O-Beauty Awards, Allure's Best of Beauty Awards, Glamour Beauty Award, Essence Best in Black Beauty Award, the WWD Beauty Inc. Innovative Product of the Year Award, and Ulta Beauty's Emerging Brand of the Year Award.
Community Management
Respond to comments and direct messages across Instagram and TikTok in a timely, brand-aligned manner.
Process product orders or replacement requests that originate from DMs, coordinating with the appropriate internal teams as needed.
Engage proactively with tagged content, UGC, and community posts.
Comment on relevant creator and cultural content (including posts not directly associated with Live Tinted) to grow visibility and build organic relationships.
Escalate customer service or sensitive inquiries to the appropriate internal team.
Track recurring engagement themes, frequently asked questions, product feedback, and community sentiment, and report insights to the social team.
UGC & Content Tracking
Monitor and track all tagged and organic UGC, maintaining and updating the content tracker with creator handles, post links, performance metrics, and repost status.
Identify high-performing UGC for potential reposting.
Proactively monitor emerging trends, cultural conversations, viral formats, or creator moments relevant to Live Tinted.
Content Support
Assist with content capture and filming as needed.
Support basic filming, editing or asset preparation for social posting as needed.
Ideal Candidate
Strong familiarity with Instagram and TikTok culture
Comfortable on camera
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Strong written communication skills with an understanding of tone and voice
Proactive and self-starting
Passionate about beauty, inclusivity, and community-building
Available during weekday business hours (with occasional flexibility during launches)
