As a Screener in a government court setting, you will use screening equipment and access-control procedures to support a secure, welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and judicial personnel. You will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:30 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:30 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Pre-Employment Requirement: 21+ Years of Age (C101) What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and other occupants while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Screen individuals and belongings entering the facility using designated screening equipment and established access-control procedures. Monitor entry points, verify authorized access as directed, and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
