Radiologic Technologist

Role Overview This position involves performing radiologic procedures, including x-ray testing, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. It encompasses operating diagnostic equipment, preparing the exam room, developing films, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties. Key Responsibilities Greet patients promptly and communicate wait times effectively Provide solutions to patient concerns and recognize emergency situations Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies Prepare patients for radiologic exams, ensuring safety protocols including radiation shielding Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions Perform quality control to ensure accurate exams Follow documentation procedures accurately Maintain current licensure and certifications, and pursue ongoing professional development Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent BLS Certification TN State X-Ray License; ARRT certification preferred Experience as a Medical Assistant is advantageous Additional Information Full-time staff work rotating 36-40 hour weeks, including weekday shifts and every-other weekend.
