Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (MA License Required) near Canoga Park, CA.

Location: Canoga Park, CA
Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience) Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking two highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our clinical research team in Canoga Park. This unique role bridges the gap between pharmacy operations and clinical patient care. While the core duties involve managing investigational products for clinical trials, the hiring manager is specifically looking for Certified Medical Assistants (MA) who are qualified to perform injections in the state of California.

Key Responsibilities

• Medication Management: Receive, review, and verify prescription orders from the Principal Investigator (PI) to ensure study validity.
• Dispensing: Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and specific study protocols.
• Clinical Support: Assist clinical research staff by addressing inquiries; refer complex issues to the PI or Pharmacist as needed.
• Injections: Perform clinical tasks including the administration of injections as required by study protocols.
• Inventory Control: Maintain precise pharmacy inventory records and support the stocking, assembly, and labeling of investigational products.
• Compliance: Ensure a sterile environment and strictly follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and quality control protocols.
• Operational Support: Meet all study deadlines and maintain high standards of confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (MA): Required. Candidates must be certified and authorized to perform injections in California.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in a pharmacy, clinical research site, or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with guidelines related to investigational products and clinical trial integrity.
