The MRI Scheduling & Admin Lead is responsible for team lead level of oversight for the administrative support functions of the MRI scheduling and reception staff. Additionally, will provide administrative support to CO Operations Management Team.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Leads MRI scheduling & administration team with scheduling, training, and evaluation of staff; provides oversight, coaching and mentoring. Assigns work, develops performance standards, andmonitorsperformance.
• With support of the Radiology Director, plans, organizes,evaluatesand carries out specific projects that support the implementation of MRI Scheduling and reception department goals andobjectives.
• Assigns work and monitors workflow; reviews and evaluates methods and procedures;identifiesand resolves problems as needed.
• Works closely with the Radiology Director on staffing issues, workforce planning, including but not limited to job description reviews,determiningstaffing needs,participatingin the interview process and candidate selection discussions.
• Prioritize, delegate and review work assignments, including the ability to give written and oral instructions, and keep teammates motivated
• Works in conjunction with Radiology Director for timecard management of the MRI scheduling team, including coordination and approval of PTO requests.
• Demonstrateknowledge and complianceofall HIPAA regulations.
• Proficient computer skills, especially in EMR systems.
• Excellent written and verbalcommunicationsskills and outstanding phone etiquette.
• Ability toproblem solveand work as a member of a team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations.

Experience/Educational requirements:

• Experience in a Medical Administrative role - 2+ years, Orthopedic experience is a plus
• Experience working in an EMR (electronic medical record)
• Ability to work well on a team, take direction from multiple people, adapt to changing priorities quickly without issue
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively
• Associates degree strongly preferred
• Working knowledge with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, etc.)
