Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Type: Full time Your experience matters! It serves patients who are chronically or critically ill and need extended hospital stays—especially those recovering from respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, or complex wounds. How you'll contribute: Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech‑language, and therapy needs. Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition. Designs and implements a plan of care appropriate to identified problems and involving the patient and family. Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services. Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel. Qualifications and requirements: Education: Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (Required). Licenses: Licensed Speech Therapist. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire. Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
