Success in this role is measured by the ability to grow the number of new products and drive the forecasted return on investment.The ASM BU develops advanced microcontroller solutions for safety-critical applications, with a primary focus on automotive and industrial markets. Our portfolio includes high-performance MCUs designed for ADAS, body electronics, powertrain control, industrial automation, and motor control applications.Responsibilities include:Lead a cross functional team on the execution of releasing new products and ensuring successful return on investment for every development; the team consists of Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Engineering, Firmware/Software Engineering, Manufacturing, Field, and QualityWork with wafer fabrication, assembly & test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and qualityPlan the project using MS Project from Assess Opportunity Phase to Release to Market and is responsible to make sure the project comes in on budgetProvide clear direction to both, team and external support organizations like device fabrication and assembly and test sitesDrive and motivate all team members critical to the flawless execution of each product and projectProvide weekly and monthly updates to senior management on status of projects, explaining the issues facing a projectInteract with customers in support of project status, key milestones, and deliveries. This includes samples deliveries, special work requests, wafer lot starts and reliability testsPerform product reliability and characterization of integrated circuits to ensure they meet the product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirementsWork with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failuresMaintain thorough and up-to-date project schedules with all related milestonesDevelop and implement Qualification plansCommunicate weekly to management on status of each projectEffectively coordinate material logistics and shipment/assembly/test prioritizationMaintain Galileo system per new product development guidelinesSuccess will be measured by the ability to grow the number of new products and drive the forecasted return on investment.Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.Why TI?Engineer your future.
