Based 45 minutes west of Boston, this well-established general contractor has been in business for over 40 years. With a team size of around 50 and $120M in annual revenue, they undertake projects ranging from $10M to $70M. Their markets include multifamily, public, and historic preservation, among others. The company boasts an excellent company culture and high employee retention.
Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will:
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute construction projects.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to coordinate tasks.
- Review and manage project documentation, including contracts and change orders.
- Assist in resolving on-site issues and providing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Track project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Support procurement efforts by sourcing materials and managing inventory.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Experience with construction projects in the property industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of safety standards and construction regulations.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges on-site.
