Clinical PsychologistThe Clinical Psychologist provides individual and group therapy for patients, addressing various psychological conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Offer therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Assist patients in coping with medical and surgical conditions, helping them adjust to illness, injury, disability, and related psychological stressors. Support may include pre-surgery psychological evaluations, coping strategies, and rehabilitation guidance.The Clinical Psychologist collaborates with multidisciplinary teams in the rehabilitation of patients, offering psychological support to help them navigate physical, emotional, and cognitive recovery.Work closely with other healthcare professionals (physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, nurses) to develop and implement integrated care plans for patients.The Clinical Psychologist stays current with developments in clinical psychology, including the latest research, treatment modalities, and best practices.Clinical Psychologist - RequirementsEducation: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited psychology program.Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship in clinical psychology.Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a licensed clinical psychologist.License: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.Life Support Certification: Current American Heart Association (AHA) or client (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.Security Clearance: Ability to successfully pass a government background check/security clearance.KurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.
