As a Security Officer - Experience Required - Overnights in Florence, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for visitors and team members. In this role, you will help to identify and report security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers while following established entry and exit procedures.
• Observe incoming and outgoing traffic, document activity, and report unusual incidents, access issues, and/or policy concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
• Support loading dock, warehouse, and gate access operations by helping to control authorized movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
