CDL-A Truck DriverBlessings of Hope is seeking a dependable CDL-A Truck Driver to help deliver food that feeds thousands of families each month. If you're looking for steady daytime hours, weekly pay, and meaningful work, we'd love to meet you.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections per procedure.Complete deliveries and pickups as scheduled.Follow delivery instructions and loading procedures in a safe and incident-free manner.Complete and turn in paperwork daily.Input information into digital computer systems for recordkeeping.RequirementsAble to speak and read English.Class A Commercial Driver's License.Able to pass a DOT physical and drug/alcohol test.Able to complete a Post Offer / Pre-Employment Physical Test.Able to complete background check.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and use a hand truck and electric pallet jack.Able and willing to work extended hours, 2-3 nights on the road, and weekends as necessary.Able to safely operate both manual and automatic transmissions.BenefitsOur benefits for full-time employees include:An employee access card to select food at the Selection Center - a small partnership cost is chargedVacation time after 90 days7 paid holidaysHealth InsuranceNotary on staff at no charge to employeesOpportunity for personal growth and professional advancementAbout Blessings of HopeBlessings of Hope is a nonprofit organization committed to addressing today's global food crisis through dedicated food distribution efforts.
