POSITION SUMMARY
The Fraud Investigations Team (FIT) is tasked with receiving, identifying, and investigating reports of fraud and fraudulent activity within the Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) Division. The Criminal Investigator III (Fraud Investigator) conducts regulatory and criminal investigations of FAMLI-related fraudulent activity, preparing reports and presenting cases to District Attorney Offices, the Attorney General’s Office, and the FAMLI Hearings Unit. The role includes interviewing witnesses, reviewing documents, collecting evidence, writing affidavits, and presenting findings for prosecution or hearing.SALARY RANGE

- 6,176.00 - $7,079.00 Monthly
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Six (6) years of relevant experience in law enforcement, fraud investigations, or other regulatory and criminal investigations. Any required certifications for the position (none).EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A combination of related education, formalized apprenticeship program, certification, and/or relevant experience equal to six (6) years. Any required certifications for the position (none).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Law Enforcement or fraud-related certifications. Experience conducting fraud or criminal investigations in a public benefit program. Ability to testify in regulatory, administrative, or criminal hearings. Experience as a State Employee.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
