Line Cook

Location: Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living At Brooksby Village, our Line Cooks do more than execute recipes — they help create an experience our residents look forward to every day. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our innovative Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and crafting chef-inspired dishes. What we offer: NEW RATES! Restaurant‑level cooking without restaurant‑level burnout PTO, paid volunteer hours, and competitive benefits packages including medical, dental, vision for eligible team members, in accordance with applicable state law Onsite medical centers, providing wellness visits and sick care for all team members over 18 years of age 401k for all team members 18 and over with a company 3% match What you’ll do: Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards Execute cook‑to‑order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Work side‑by‑side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming back What you need: At least 1 year of cook-to-order experience Ability to work some weekends and holidays. Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
