Engineering Assistant I: Night Shift

Location: Florence, KY (CVG 300) Shift: Sun.- Tues./Sun.-Wed. 6pm-6am (402 - B Shift) The Engineering Assistant I at Jabil, Inc. supports engineering teams in various tasks, contributing to the development, testing, and maintenance of products and processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities Assist engineers with the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and presentations. Support the setup, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and test fixtures and JIGs. Perform basic engineering calculations and simulations under supervision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to products or processes. Participate in prototype assembly, testing, and validation activities. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Job Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field. Strong foundational understanding of engineering principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving aptitude and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
