Now hiring a Welder in Decatur, IL. Immediate openings available on 1st shift! As a Welder you will be required to build and weld metal parts from blueprints. You’ll be laying out, cutting, fitting, and welding steel. Checking your own work for quality, and using shop equipment like saws, shears, torches, grinders, metal rollers, large cutters, and a 480-amp welder. The Welding position is available on 1st shift. Typically, 6 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday but that time may vary by production demands. Pay rate is $18-$24/hour, depending on experience and determined after an interview/weld test. Qualifications: -2+ years welding/fabrication experience -Able to read blueprints and welding symbols -Able to lift up to 75 lbs -Able to pass pre-employment screening Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
