The District Manager will lead and develop a sales team that drives high‑impact customer interactions, exceeding sales forecasts while operating within assigned budgets. Job Responsibilities Recruit, select, train, and develop Neuroscience Sales Representatives, fostering a high‑performance team built on trust, collaboration, ethics, and scientific excellence. Ensure representatives meet or exceed product/brand strategy training targets and share best practices with internal stakeholders. Set ambitious performance and productivity objectives that support business objectives and meet or exceed field deliverables. Provide consistent feedback and coaching, including daily coaching summaries for mid‑year and annual reviews. Lead strategic analysis of the geography, uncover opportunities for growth, and adapt activities to local dynamics using analytical frameworks. Conduct regular field visits to assess performance and support development through coaching and modeling. Monitor regional data sets, update business plans, and develop strategies to maximize performance impact and resource utilization. Collaborate with other functional areas to identify and respond to local opportunities and customer needs, serving as a regional resource. Work with the Regional Sales Director to develop and maintain local business plans, achieving KPI goals and sales objectives. Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience; launch experience and CNS experience preferred. 2+ years of field sales management experience. Strong self‑motivation, decision‑making judgment, teamwork, and adaptability. Demonstrated success translating vision and strategy into tactical plans. Experience interacting with key opinion leaders, organized customers, and managed care organizations. Effective communication, presentation, and decision‑making skills. Deep understanding of customer segments, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in neuroscience. Strong business analytics skills and ability to analyze metrics. Manages all required administrative work. Willing to travel up to 75% of the time. Capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
