A strong quantitative and property & casualty reinsurance background is required. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. For candidates not located near our Fairfield, OH headquarters, this role may be designated as remote. Individuals in remote locations will be required to travel on a more frequent basis.The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.Be ready to:support the evaluation and pricing of reinsurance opportunities work with the reinsurance underwriters to analyze contracts, develop loss costs, and quantify the impact of contract featuresassess capital requirements and provide insights into key risk drivers to support strategic decision-making and financial planningperform actuarial pricing, including experience rating and exposure rating of subject businessperform stochastic and financial modeling of transactionsassist in the development and maintenance of pricing modelsmeet externally with current and prospective clientsparticipate in special projects as neededperiodically travel to support business objectives, meetings, and eventsQualificationsBe equipped with:ability to independently manage priorities, take initiative, and drive successdemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teamexcellent written and verbal communication skillsstrong organizational, time and project management experiencestrong Excel and actuarial software proficiencyability to interpret and communicate complex data to technical and non-technical audiencesBring education or experience from: a bachelor’s degree (required)progress toward CAS designation required; candidates should be an actuarial student with advanced exam progress or a near-credentialed Property & Casualty actuary (ACAS/FCAS)two or more years of experience in property/casualty reinsurance pricing (required)two or more years of experience in commercial or specialty lines such as general liability, auto, property, professional lines, cyber, marine & energy (preferred)experience with SQL Server and VBA (preferred)Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
