Teachers' Aide/Floater

Job Description

About This Role

We're seeking enthusiastic team members to join our growing Mt. Washington Baptist Daycare family. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, mission-driven, reliable, and flexible, available Monday through Friday from 10am to 6 pm.

What You'll Do

Help maintain and clean and functional classrooms
Assisting teachers for the day
Supervise children assigned to their care for the day
Effectively communicate with parents and co-workers as needed
Assisted in closing down classrooms for the day (taking out garbage, disinfecting toys, etc.)
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be able to pass a background check
Must be willing to take and maintain state-mandated training
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Be comfortable working with varying age groups (Infants - School-Age)

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of SUTQ (Step Up To Quality) is a plus
1 year experience working in the Early Childhood Education Field
