Sales Support Assistant

The Sales Support Assistant works in partnership with the Sales Manager, Personal Finance Officer (PFO) team, Marketing Lead to support smooth, accurate and efficient sales operations. The role has a primary operational focus on supporting the processing and issuance of returning-customer loans, including helping to clear outstanding returning-customer applications, so that PFOs can devote greater time and attention to engaging and converting new customers. The position also provides sales administration, performance tracking across both new and returning business, and marketing support as required. Primary Duties And Responsibilities Returning Customer Support & Loan Issuance: Support the processing and follow-up of returning-customer loan applications, with particular focus on clearing outstanding and aged applications. Respond to returning-customer queries regarding their applications and accounts and coordinate resolution of outstanding issues. Follow up with returning customers to obtain outstanding information or documentation required to progress their applications. Coordinate with loan underwriters and other relevant departments to facilitate timely review, approval and issuance of returning-customer loans. Issue returning-customer loans in accordance with established company procedures and approval requirements. Monitor outstanding returning-customer applications and escape delays, exceptions or unresolved issues to the Sales Manager. Assist with creating and updating customer profiles in the LMS as required. Ensure all required sales documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with company policies. Sales Tracking & Administrative Support Maintain accurate weekly and monthly sales activity and results tracking reports covering both new and returning customers. Track key sales activities and results, including applications, conversions, loans issued and performance against established targets. Assist the Sales Manager in compiling and preparing sales performance reports and presentations. Handle routine administrative tasks, including maintaining reports, presentations and organized electronic files. Assist in scheduling meetings and follow-ups with customers or leads. Take minutes in team meetings and consistently follow up on action items. Highlight outstanding items, unusual trends or areas requiring follow-up to the Sales Manager. Marketing Support & Execution Assist the Marketing Lead in executing marketing campaigns, promotions and other initiatives as required. Create and adapt basic marketing materials, including static ads, promotional graphics, WhatsApp messages and digital content, using graphic design software. Support the planning, setup, coordination and execution of retail activations, pop-ups and other promotional events, including preparing and organizing materials. Collaborate with the Marketing Lead and Sales Team to support marketing initiatives, promotions and campaign requirements. Cross-Departmental Communication Liaise with relevant departments to resolve customer account and application-related issues. Coordinate between departments to ensure alignment, timely follow-up and smooth workflows. Perform other duties reasonably related to the role as assigned by the Sales Manager. Education A minimum of Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field Work Experience Minimum 2 years experience in office procedures/administrative support (Equivalent combination of education with work experience will be considered.) Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Office management systems, especially Excel and MS office proficiency. Tech-savvy and experience with spreadsheeting/presentation Good language skills – spoken and written English (bi-lingual a plus) Organization, multitasking and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various teams. Basic graphic design skills, with working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar design software.
