Randstad Digital is hiring an Operations Team Lead to support an innovative drone delivery operation in Locust Grove, Georgia. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced logistics, retail, warehouse, or operational environments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can lead by example, prioritize safety, coordinate daily operations, and support a small team while ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency standards.

responsibilities:
Site Readiness & Daily Operations

• Oversee daily site setup and operational readiness
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe
• Conduct equipment inspections and verify operational functionality
• Support smooth startup and shutdown procedures

Fulfillment & Delivery Coordination

• Direct daily workflow to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Perform quality control checks, including package weight and accuracy verification
• Supervise package preparation and loading onto delivery aircraft
• Monitor operational performance and resolve workflow issues

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and support a small operational team
• Assist with staff scheduling and shift coordination
• Train and coach team members on procedures, safety requirements, and best practices
• Foster a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment

Safety, Security & Inventory Management

• Promote and enforce safety standards and operational procedures
• Conduct daily inventory counts and audits
• Investigate and resolve operational incidents when needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and site security requirements

Communication & Continuous Improvement

• Serve as the primary liaison between site operations and regional leadership
• Provide regular updates on site performance and operational metrics
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
• Support implementation of new processes and operational initiatives

qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in logistics, retail, warehouse, fulfillment, operations, or a similar fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and effectively guide a team

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to prioritize safety and operational excellence

Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on environment

Ability to lift, move, and handle packages as required by the operation

Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite in Locust Grove, GA

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading teams in fulfillment, warehouse, retail, or logistics operations

Experience with inventory management, quality control, or operational audits

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Experience coaching, mentoring, or training team members

Schedule

Schedule A: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday | 7:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Schedule B: Thursday, Friday, Saturday | 7:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Minimum one-hour lunch break each shift

Flexibility to support operational needs as required
