Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT registration and 2 years of experience for a hospital Radiation Oncology department offering both photon and proton therapy.

Details

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department
• Both Photon and Proton Therapist roles available
• Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Uses CT simulator, linear accelerator, QA dosimeters, and diode system
• Uses Elekta and Mosaiq for treatment delivery and charting

Requirements

• ARRT registration required
• Current CPR certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• High school diploma/GED or college completion required
• Elekta and Mosaiq experience required
• Experience at a comparable facility size preferred

Additional Information

• Prepare and apply ionizing radiation per Radiation Oncologist prescriptions under general supervision of Chief and Lead Radiation Therapist
• Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy courses according to departmental protocols with minimal supervision
• Work under general supervision with support from Chief and Lead Radiation Therapist
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate
